Three Project Proposals
Hello, Bloggers!
Project #1: Pediatric Nurse at Clear Water Medical Center
Over the past year, the medical field has been on my radar-- specifically nursing. Echo Stone, a Pediatric Nurse, is a young BSN grad and has worked at Clearwater Medical Center for nine months. I chose a Pediatric Nurse since I love children and would want to specialize in that field if I pursue nursing. Echo cares for patients ranging from 0-19 years old. She is fresh out of nursing school and I want to hear about her early experiences in this field.
Project #2: Student Counselor
Counseling is a job that piques my curiosity and interests me. Betty Rivers has a masters in Psychology and is a student counselor who works with kids on their emotional, social, and behavioral development. Betty works for Grand Willow which is a non-profit organization and counsels at the comprehensive therapeutic school, Riverdale High. Her job seems especially interesting as she is working with kids one on one all day. Their motto is, "Creating learning environments that promote knowledge, change, growth, and hope for overcoming some of life's greatest challenges" (Website).
Project #3: Speech Language Pathologist
Growing up, I thought it would be neat helping children with speech impairments. Elliot Evans, a Speech Language Pathologist, has been her own boss for many years in Harleysville, PA. She seems passionate about helping children succeed and grow. It would be interesting hearing from an older person who is well experienced in this career.
